I’m Ali, a San Francisco-based professional with experience in commercial planning, systems implementation, and project administration. I apply that experience to software and AI implementation while studying Computer Science at CCSF.

Experience and current work

In retail, I managed category and inventory plans, translated demand into buying decisions, and worked with business and technical teams on forecasting, replenishment, and fulfillment systems.

My project-administration work added SharePoint permissions, document control, deliverable workflows, process maps, user guides, and training for a public-infrastructure program supporting 268+ users.

Today, I support the CCSF Computer Science department, study Computer Science, and develop tools including the AI Interview Coach and SmartGrocer. My focus is practical implementation: understand the task, build the workflow, test it, and make it usable.

How I approach an implementation.

I am interested in systems because they shape whether people can understand what is happening, know what they own, and move forward without losing essential context.

Make the work legible

Clarify requirements, records, assumptions, dependencies, and ownership before choosing a tool.

Handle exceptions clearly

Show missing information, conflicts, uncertainty, and escalation paths instead of hiding them.

Support adoption

Test the workflow, document it, train the people using it, and leave a maintainable handoff.
